Meet Dr. Steele, Founder of THRIVE

Founder and Executive Director of THRIVE, Dr. Colleen Steele is a licensed Learning and Behavior Specialist, Board Certified Coach, and the creator of the THRIVE Coaching Model™. She holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University and a Doctorate in Organization Development and Change.

Dr. Steele knows firsthand what it's like to be a teen balancing competitive gymnastics, singing, academics, and ADHD. Her lived experience, combined with extensive research, informed the development of the THRIVE model, an evidence-based approach grounded in cognitive neuroscience, performance psychology, and behavior change.

Today, she leads the THRIVE coaching team while remaining actively involved in guiding families, supporting clients, and ensuring every coaching relationship reflects the values and philosophy that have become the foundation of THRIVE. Through coaching, consultation, and mentorship, she is passionate about helping individuals build confidence, strengthen executive functioning, and thrive through life's challenges and transitions.
